Guy
Lemarquand was born in Paris, France, in 1959. He received an electromechanical
engineer degree in 1982 and a PhD degree in 1984, both from the Grenoble
University.
Dr Lemarquand
is a professor in the Acoustic Department at University du Maine, Le Mans,
France, where his research and teaching interests include audio and
electromechanical engineering.
Dr
Lemarquand’s research has encompassed loudspeaker technology and magnetomechanical
devices. He has published over 80 research articles and holds over 30 granted
and pending patents in this field.
He is a
senior member of the IEEE Magnetics Society and member of the Audio Engineering
Society.
