My research activities are part of two main fields that are currently tackled by the laser ultrasonic community.  

Picosecond acoustic in materials under high pressures (polycrystals) and in microstructures, including the development of signal processing tools for imaging purposes. 

Non-contact non-destructive testing (NDT) of composite materials, bonding structures, fatigued and cracked materials using linear and nonlinear guided elastic waves with a particular focused on ZGV (zero-group-velocity) Lamb modes.
